Founded in 2018 in the rolling hills of Northern California, SolidNest began as a small collective of passionate bakers who believed that bread should reconnect us with the land. What started with weekly gatherings in a converted barn has grown into an international school dedicated to teaching nature-first bread making.
Our founder, Elena Voss, spent years studying traditional grain cultivation before establishing the school. Every class we offer honors seasonal ingredients, regenerative farming methods, and the meditative rhythm of working with dough.
"To make the craft of mindful bread baking accessible to everyone, while protecting and celebrating the natural ecosystems that feed us."
We source exclusively from farms practicing soil regeneration and biodiversity.
Every loaf supports health — whole grains, long ferments, and minimal additives.
We believe learning happens best in groups, where stories and techniques are shared freely.
